We Are Ibiza 2021 [33 Music]

Dan McKie keeps up his tireless work ethic with the announcement of his new compilation We Are Ibiza 2020 featuring 25 tracks, with artists like Seb zito, Booka Shade, Fagunds, Sid Vaga & Herald, Delkode, Luxo, Saytek, Phill Straub, Morttuga, Betoko, Zoo Brazil, Fur Coat, Common Underground, Poison Ghost, Oscar L, Alan Fitzpartick, Rebuke and more all featuring next to the boss himself.

McKie himself has a rich history and close relationship with the celebrated White Isle as he has been going to Ibiza since the summer of 2010. In the past he has hosted his own nights there in the West End at Hush with Will Clarke, and over the summers of 2011 and 2012. Following that, he spent a year and a half living there from 2013 hosting events with Pacha Ibiza resident Graham Sahara (Team Ginger), so he got to know all the main island people and resident DJs on a personal level.

He says, "Ibiza will always have a place in my heart, it is a like a second home to me. With the pandemic I have truly missed seeing my friends and the island. As the October month opened up with the likes of Eden, DC10 & Amnesia completing the shortest club season in the history of Ibiza I still wanted to carry on my love for the island and its vibe. This is why we bring you We Are Ibiza 2021"

This compilation celebrates all that with the sort of sounds you would expect to hear in Ibiza across a night. There is powerful big room techno, epic house music and plenty of hands in the air moments with wild synth work and mischievous late night energy. It is another fine project from McKie, who truly is Ibiza through and through.
