Next on 33 Music is head honcho himself, Dan McKie, with his new single ‘Looking’.

Dan McKie has been prolific in the last few years and he has no plans to stop. ‘Looking’ first began in 2018 as a club tool for his sets, since then he has grown as a DJ & a producer which you can hear in the production of ‘Looking’. Looking is a driving techy techno club track with a wonderful pitched down vocal hook. It drives and drives until we hit the organ-based breakdown which sweeps and flows with grace. Then back to the drive techno sound for the club floors.

On the flip Dan invited is friend ‘Known Unknown’ to do his thing. Known Unknown is another prolific DJ & Producer, he has numerous Beatport and Traxsource charting tracks as well as having played to audiences as big as 100000 across the pond. Known Unknown’ remix is a very cool tribal house remix, with cool chords, tribal beats and bass with the distinctive pitched down vocal hook throughout.

Dan McKie Quote: “I wanted to create a techno track with a distinctive vocal hook but not be a full-on vocal track. I kept the track deep down and techno dirty but driving with the over laid vocal hook. I have released quite a few of Known Unknown’s tracks and have become to know him as a friend and producer. It was the natural progression to get him on board my 33 Music label on the remix tip of one of my singles, I love what he has done with the track. “
