Dan McKie keeps up his tireless work ethic with the announcement of his new compilation We Are Ibiza 2020 featuring 41 tracks, six of which are album only, and nine of which are exclusives, with artists like Carl Cox, Riva Starr, Nhoah, Joseph Ashworth, Erik Hagleton (Cafe Mambo & Paris By Night at Pacha Resident DJ), Kaiserdisco, Biscits, Noble North, Jimmy Le Mac, Aki Bergen & Richter, Betoko, These Machines, Bushwacka, Skapes and more all featuring next to the boss himself.

McKie himself has a rich history and close relationship with the celebrated White Isle as he has been going to Ibiza since the summer of 2010. In the past he has hosted his own nights there in the West End at Hush with Will Clarke, and over the summers of 2011 and 2012. Following that, he spent a year and a half living there from 2013 so got to know all the main island people and resident DJs on a personal level.

He says, "Ibiza has a place in my heart as a second home for sure. When I land there I feel at home. I tend not to got all the parties every night, rather just meet up with my mates at local places in Ibiza Town and Figueretes with the odd trip to DC10, which is my favourite club, especially its garden. I go at least three or four times a year, sometimes more, and have played at Space Ibiza, Sands, Beachstar, Hush, Es Vive, Booom, Bora Bora to name a few."

This compilation celebrates all that with the sort of sounds you would expect to hear in Ibiza across a night. There is powerful big room techno, epic house music and plenty of hands in the air moments with wild synth work and mischievous late night energy. It is another fine project from McKie, who truly is Ibiza though and through.
