‘Datskie’, known to his friends as Max Simons, is an electronic dance music producer from Helsinki, Finland. In his music, ‘Datskie’ contrasts driving and energetic techno beats with rich melodic landscapes exploring emotions like empathy, hope and fragility. ‘Let It Flow’ does just that and is a melodic bouncy deep house groover.

His diverse sound is the cumulative product of years of experimentation in different dance music styles. ‘Datskie’ draws inspiration from everything he does, whether it’s seeing his favourite acts live in the club, playing with new analog gear in the studio or teaching his own course in electronic music production at a musical institute.

On the remix is head honcho ‘Dan McKie’, he takes the main elements of the deep hypnotic original groover, add’s some pace and his own unique blend of groove which is pair with a delicious euphoric breakdown.

Dan McKie Quote: “I have loved this track for a while, I was always playing it out and thinking to myself this is a little slow for some situations so I wanted to take that amazing bouncy lead arp and bring some pace to the track, then I can play this track in most situations. That’s what I did.”
